Sembalun Day Tour

This tour is covering Baun Pusuk (monkey’s forest), Old Mosque in Bayan Village, Sembalun Village where you can visit Traditional Village or common call Desa adat Sembalun and Selong Hill or Bukit Selong. And if the time enough, you can visit and taste the local Strawberry on the field and or other fruits.

Your driver will pick you up at 08.00 AM from your Hotel in Mataram or Senggigi, if you stay on Gili Island, the driver will pick you up at Bangsal harbour.

Places to visits / Tour Highlights

First Place: Baun Pusuk
Baun Pusuk is famous monkey’s forest on Lombok Island. Located between West Lombok and North Lombok, you just need 30 to 45 minutes to get there with the car from Mataram or Senggigi.

Second Place: Old Mosque
Old Mosque in Bayan Village is the inclusion of historical evidence of Muslim in Lombok, Local also named this Mosque Masjid Bayan Beleq. This Mosque is the first built in Lombok which is built in the 17th century, Inside the Mosque also has a tomb of the first propagator of Muslim in the island.

Third Place: Sembalun Village
Sembalun Village can be reached about 3 hours drive from Senggigi or Mataram. Located in East Lombok, this village famous with the farming, strawberry farm, carrots farm, etc. The beautiful scenery with background Mount Rinjani makes this village become one of the favorite tourist destinations in Lombok.

Fourth Place: Desa Adat Sembalun
This village was found as the first village in Sembalun and was living only by seven married couples with have no children onwards. After that, they have moved to Sembalun Village which is well known as one of the best destinations in Lombok. Desa Adat Sembalun or common call by local Desa Beleq is the oldest village found in Sembalun and it’s very historical according to the people on the village.

Fifth Place: Selong Hill or Bukit Selong
To reach this hill, you will have to do a soft trekking to get here. Located on Sembalun Lawang Village, this hill is one of the great sunset point. The things you can get here are beautiful paddy down the hill with beautiful mountain background.
